Inspiring Couple Kerry-Anne and Michael Gordon Tie The Knot In This Beautiful Philadelphia Wedding

Kerry-Anne and Michael Gordon have a unique and inspirational wedding story. With their original wedding plans halted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Gordons only had two weeks to plan their "micro-wedding" in Philadelphia. The couple faced some challenges since "the [original] wedding was supposed to be in New Jersey and our vendors were from different states.  With such short notice, it was impossible to have the same vendors available." The beautiful bride quickly became the wedding planner and wore a classic A-line Sophia Tolli gown, Natalie Grace Y21970B, customized into an off-the-shoulder neckline by her talented bridal boutique.

Reflecting on her journey to finding her dream wedding dress, Kerry-Anne said "While there were so many beautiful memories of our wedding, finding a gown during a lockdown was the most important but difficult task. I called many bridal suites in the hopes that one would return my call.  I had never tried on a wedding gown prior to planning this micro-wedding.  A very special person, Michele, returned my phone call and opened her bridal suite for me late one evening, allowing me to try gowns in hopes of finding the perfect one.  This was the first display of love and kindness by a stranger and was followed by a countless amount of other kind gestures from her, including picking up press-on nails at a local Walmart the day before our wedding because I could not find a salon to do my nails.  She altered my dress according to my vision and made the perfect veil in just a few days.  My dress couldn't have been more perfect!"

Michele, owner of New Jersey bridal boutique Sew Pretty Bridal Studio, shared how Kerry-Anne sought out her business based on a referral and "stayed committed and determined to purchase her gown from my salon. With masks on her and I pulled gowns of all styles - with lace, strapless, backless. You name it, Kerry-Anne tried it on and looked fabulous in everything.  "Natalie Grace" was the first gown Kerry-Anne tried on and fell in love with, in which she described as feeling beautiful and feeling like a bride. It was wonderful working with her and she exudes a calm, sweet spirit. We chatted about her career as I was so impressed at her many accomplishment at the young age of 35. She's so inspirational, I feel like I have a close bond with her and wish nothing but good success and blessings."

The bride's favorite memory from her wedding day? "The epic moment shared with protestors in Philadelphia during the Black Lives Matter protest.  The moment was empowered by love, hope, and joy.  I was overwhelmed by the energy that was being shared which encompassed a love that had no boundaries of color, age, sex, or creed."

Kerry-Anne described how she "felt absolutely fabulous in my gown which, by the way, was the first gown that I had tried that made me feel like a bride!
